Wonderful Care

I have been familiar with Bryn Mawr Terrace (BMT) for many years as both my father and father-in-law had received care there.  So naturally, I turned to the Terrace when my husband Charles and I needed help.

I was a full-time care giver for Charles when I was diagnosed with cancer.  I knew I needed to find care for him while undergoing surgery and to help with my own recovery.  Bryn Mawr Terrace was there for us.  We were able to live together at BMT while I recovered and Charles received the daily care he needed.  It soon became apparent that my husband would need memory care, and BMT was there for us again!  We moved to Impressions the memory care unit located at BMT.  Again, I was able to live there with Charles in an environment that provided him with the level of care he needed.  I cannot say enough about the wonderful care we received.  All of the staff were helpful, considerate and caring.  After Charles passed away, BMT remained there for me.  I now live in the residential area of BMT.  I don’t have to worry about my meals or taking care of my home and if I need assistance it is there.  But, I still have freedom to come and go as I please and to keep up my connections in the community I have lived in for most of my life.

Above and Beyond

My Aunt has been a resident at Bryn Mawr Terrace, in the assisted living facility, for over a year and I am very happy with the care and consideration she receives from the staff, especially Steve Carney, Sharon Major and Judith. These care givers have gone above and beyond the call of duty to insure that my Aunt is very well cared for and her concerns and wishes satisfied. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone.

More Than Safety & Comfort

I want to thank the administration and the staff at Impressions Memory Care: my Dad had an extremely rough time in 2016 when he had an accelerated case of Dementia/ALZ and was just coming out of recovery from a major heart surgery related to the onset. This disease, or "The Long Goodbye" as many call it, is extremely difficult both in its emotional toll, as well as the confusion and effort it takes on the patient's family to navigate the options and ensure their loved one finds a place where they can be safe and comfortable...this is often all you can hope for.

Impressions has provided that and more - the staff-to-patient ratio, the extremely clean and bright living and common areas, plus the activities and care that is provided every day - giving me and my family a piece of mind that is a god send! It has allowed us to focus on quality time with our Dad without a worry about his care. Thank you again!
